This thing prevents your hand from getting grossly sticky while you are enjoying a delicious frozen treat in the Summertime. The prototype is probably going to be a sandwich baggy with a hole poked through it.

It would be great to build a bigger version that fits over high chairs too, perhaps one for business men they can stick their heads through so stuff does not spill on thier fancy custom made suits.

BTW you can get amazing custom fitted suits made from http://www.theduchessway.com .

I really like the illustration on this and the Securi-pee. Did you do this, Drew?

Nope, I’m the guy who drew the two drawings in question. You can learn more about me at my under-developed website: www.khrissoden.org.

it seems that such a contraption would let the melted
    ice-cream drip onto the arm…

An alternative solution would be to have it inverterd
like a funnel. But this would cause the cream to drip
    into the hands…

So, it should be a small plastic bag at the opening to
collect everything and once done with the stick, can
easily toss everything away without getting any goo
    on his/her hands.

    Happy Slurping!!!!

I would imagine a lot of our ideas have been thought of or built before. Just because someone has come up with an idea before or created a service before doesn’t mean no one else can do it. Ideas are meant to be developed. That dripcatcher site is great! I’m certain they put a lot of work into that idea to get it to the point it is at. Part of the MoHDI concept is to help inspire others to create and hopefully succeed with their inventions, ideas and passions. Obviously if we can make a hundred dollars a year on one idea, that we can start up for less than a Hundred dollars we will be happy.
The passion we have for our work and the desire to help others are key beliefs we have, this path will make MoHDI way more successful than imaginable.
