How would you spend $200?

Recently I participated in a survey. After completing the survey I was gifted with $200 in gift certificates at Amazon.com
I’m in a debate on what to spend this extra gift on. I hope to get some advice from friends, family and random people on this one. In addition to asking for advice, I would love to hear what you would spend $200 on at amazon.com.
I have three sorts of thinking on this one… Spend it on something practical or on something impractical or spend it on someone else.
Here’s my practical list….
- A Matte Cutter ( I need one)
- A miter or table saw
- More tools (stuff to build my inventions with)
- New Digital camera (I have to hit my camera to make it work ugh)
- New Shoes (other than my sandals, my shoes are in very poor condition)
- A bike trailer for Lillian ( I really want one of these but, I hope to buy locally or try to find a hand me down one)
And my impractical list…
- a PSP ( oh this would be fun to have)
- Ipod (I would sure like one… (Fyou gawker media, you are still on my shit list!))
- Amazon sells materials like titanium, cool
- Robot Parts
- a gps would be fun to have
- Toys and games
Keep in mind this is just a short set of lists to give you an idea of what I’m thinking. I’m very open to suggestions.
Here’s what I would like to know from you…
1. How would you spend $200 at Amazon.com in a practical way?
2. How would you spend $200 at Amazon.com in an impractical way?
3. What do you suggest I spend the $200 on in a practical way?
4. What do you suggest I spend the $200 on in an impractical way?
Please post your suggestions in the comment field of this posting. This is a great way for me to get to know you a bit better.
People who post the best responses will get some sort of surprise.
Thanks for the help.
Below is a search bar from my amazon affiliates account. If you are going to buy something from there, feel free to use this search box. Awesome!

I’d go for something like a digital camera which would be both practical and fun to me and is like a major purchase.
1. I’d actually probably move 200 to my savings acct and leave the $200 to soak up some of the random stuff I buy on amazon anyway.
2. Since I already have a camera I might get some new lenses. (or more realistically A new lens.) or maybe a Nintendo DS as a grad present for my girlfriend.
3. Camera. only cause I don’t know enough about your other tool needs. (but the Camera will become urgent if you old one breaks.)
4. Titanium & robot parts. Totally.
1. I really need a new radio for my car (my current one is dying . . . miserably)
2. An Xbox would be pretty awesome when BioShock comes out. (link: http://www.2kgames.com/bioshock/enter.html; you should also check out the demo [youtube]).
3. I’ve got to second the camera idea, but any cool tool would be practical.
4. Just don’t get an Ipod (defectivebydesign.org). A GPS would be fun.
I can’t answer your questions because I choose to receive a $100 gift for Amazon and now I can’t decide what to spend it on! So far, I spent $18 on two books and the rest is waiting my decision!
Thanks for all the great advice! Since I just got a bike trailer!!!!!. I’m swaying more to the digital camera… Still thinking about it though and still open to suggestions.
I would definitely buy The Complete Far Side, the complete set of the Star Trek Animated Series, and as much Tom Lehrer music as I had money left over for. This is actually completely practical as I really want my children to be able to grow up as twisted as I am, using the same media responsible for my twisting.
Impractically speaking I would buy a DeWalt DW131 Heavy-Duty 7 Amp 1/2-Inch Drill with Spade Handle. I already have a perfectly servicable drill, but this thing looks like it means business. And that’s important in any tool. Not practical, but important nonetheless.
As for what you should get, I would totally go with an iPod. It’s both practical in the way that any mp3 player is and impractical in that it’s much more expensive than any mp3 player of a similar capacity.
I had this same problem about 2 years ago. If you remember Amazon’s Mturk program at all, you could get money for doing little tasks. Anyways, I wound up with about $400 in Amazon Gift Certificates. I bought a pair of shoes, a fez, a bunch of fake moustaches and a ham. I wouldn’t recommend the moustaches, but the ham was excellent.
