You have to change your MAC address. If you use a router, it�s easy. Most have a built in -clone MAC- feature. If you�re just using a cable modem or DSL, you can download a freeware program called �macmakeup�, which spoofs your MAC. You will usually have to push a pencap into the tiny hole on the back of your modem to reset it so it will see the new MAC and assign a different IP. It takes a little more than a minute to do this.

Very amusing! A church choir used to sing in front of shops in the city where I used to live during Gallery Hop and other events, and business owners would bribe them to leave. This might be a possible area for expansion once the initial cardboard sign enterprise takes off.

I dunno about the safety tips… It sounds like a good idea, but that’s like walking out of an airport in a foreign country and having the taxi driver say, “People are VERY distrustful in this country… let ME hold on to your stuff for you.” It accomplishes making you feel less secure about your stuff and the country you’re visiting at the same time.
