When it comes to great Portland events, I rank the Portland Zine Symposium as one of the best. The organizers do such a fantastic job gathering all sorts of independent thinkers and creators and putting them all in one place. The 3 day is packed with fantastic events, workshops and tables full of zines and things.
This year I’m really excited about workshops on 3D interactive books, Open Source Software and Researching and presenting information to name a few. I’m also looking forward to getting some awesome new goods at one of the 107 tablers tables and also gathering lots of great new hundred dollar ideas. The social events look like a lot of fun too.
If you have not been before and will be around this weekend, GO!
I believe there is somehting for everyone down there and I hope that people take advantage of this spectacular event.
