The other day I had the idea to start making my own pens. I was thinking it would be great if I could use my hair as a nib for the pen. Then I was thinking it would be great to make my own ink. Then I was thinking this would be a great challenge for people.

The rules are pretty simple. I think I’ll try to get some sort of prizes at some point for people who participate. Brushes are ok but, I think pens would be more interesting to make.
If you don’t know anything about making pens or inks then I say go for it. If you want a little guidance here are some useful links for inks.

For Pens I suggest a little search through google patents for some inspiration.
